Developer Lukewarm Media has announced their plans to bring dinosaurs to life once more using the DirectX 11 powered Unigine. Their title, Primal Carnage, features co-op based gameplay that pits player controlled humans against player controlled dinosaurs in an all out battle for supremacy.
The team has stated that they would like to price the game around the $20 mark, but nothing firm has been set yet. A release date and additional details on the game are also not yet known. However, let's not forget the important part here: You can play as a dinosaur.
Set in the aftermath of a military experiment gone awry, Primal Rage pits five classes of mercenaries against five species of dinosaurs in competitive and co-op modes.
'Survival' sees up to five mercenaries fending off AI dinosaur attacks while riding on a train, boat or the like, completing objectives and facing a boss battle at the end. 'Power Grid' meanwhile is Team Fortress 2-style competitive interspecies point-capturing play. (Shacknews)
