Valve has just released an update to everyone's favorite online FPS, Counter-Strike: Source. The update doesn't provide any new functionality, nor does it add in any graphical improvements, but it does make the game a little bit more secure.
Server admins should run hldsupdatetool to get this latest update.
- SMX, GCF, and SYS files cannot be downloaded
- Files whose extensions contain whitespace are not allowed to be downloaded
- Filenames that begin with path separators are not allowed to be downloaded
