Android Ports of Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein Removed at ZeniMax's Request

Due to a few issues with assets that were not open source and free to use, the creators of the Doom, Quake, and Wolfenstein Android ports were forced to remove the downloads for the games. These are just a few of the titles banned by ZeniMax, with either other programs removed at the request of ZeniMax.
Although the Doom source code, was open sourced, and the application was based on a port of the PrBoom engine, the application is still suspended. My mistake was allowing the download of the Plutonia and TNT WADs, at least that is what I suspect. Although I may not be able to distribute the application through the Market, the APK can still be downloaded and installed through the web.

The developer of the Android version of Doom has sent off an e-mail to ZeniMax to see if any changes could be made in order to get the app back up on the marketplace.<!--more-->

I never really liked playing doom on my G1... I much prefer loading Genesis roms onto it, they work great. Abduction was the only game specifically made for Android that i thought really deserved attention.
