Despite statements made by Activision's CEO saying that Modern Warfare 2 will only have two DLC map packs, Infinity Ward announced today that there may be more in store. Robert Bowling, the community manager for Infinity Ward says that community feedback will determine whether or not additional DLC is released.
How they will determine the community feedback is not known. Perhaps statements made on the Call of Duty forums will be the deciding factor, or perhaps sales figures will be the ultimate decider.
In related news, Mad Catz is set to develop a line of Modern Warfare 2 oriented game peripherals. The company will create "branded controllers and accessories based on what is one of the videogame industry’s preeminent franchises." Specifics on the accessories were not disclosed.

"As far as DLC goes, we love it and plan to support 'Modern Warfare 2' heavily with post-launch support. We’ve confirmed we’ll be doing AT LEAST two map packs which were announced at E3 as a timed exclusive for Xbox 360. The fact that we confirmed at least two map packs doesn’t mean there won’t be more; honestly we plan on shaping our DLC based on community feedback from the full game, and first two DLC map packs. Therefore, the community will really determine what comes after that."
