Hardened and Prestige Editions of Modern Warfare 2 Absent for PC

If you were a PC gamer and were looking to score a rather cheap pair of night vision goggles in addition to your copy of Modern Warfare 2, we have some bad news. Activision has confirmed to Big Download that there will be no Hardened Edition released for the PC, nor will there be any Prestige Edition released.

Yes, both collector's edition bundles of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be absent from the PC. These editions are now exclusive to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.

As it stands, the vanilla edition of Modern Warfare 2 will set PC gamers back $60 (USD), a $10 premium above the typical cost of new PC releases.

BOOOO GO F*** yourself Activision... Gah... I got to get both version anyways, but very disappointed that I can even get a collectors edition for PC, load of crap.

Wow Fuck activiison. No colelctors edition, and charging us $10 more. When call of duty 4 came out I got the collectors edition for $59.99 on release day.

They are only doing this because they no they can get away with the price because the franchise is so popular now.
