My PC doesn't meet the Recommended Requirements! (I have an 8800GT, it recommends a 9800, though there's not much of a performance difference) Other than than the video card, though, I meet everything.

I've been finding System Requirements aren't really worth much anymore, since they're so vague/ambiguous as to how well the game will run even with the recommended requirements. Some don't run so hot with the recommended requirements, yet for others the recommended requirements are overkill.

Your video card might not have Shader 3.0, my only guess I'm too lazy to look it up. The could be the reason why they require a higher video card, but again I can be wrong :).

Shader Model 3.0 has been around since the GeForce 6 series cards.

In fact, I'm almost positive that my 8800GT is Shader Model 4.0
