The two map packs previously released for Call of Duty: World at War have amassed over 4 million downloads across the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace. This news comes at the same time that a third map pack was announced.
The stats came as the publisher announced a third map pack for the game, slated to launch in August. Map Pack 3 will feature three multiplayer maps titled "Battery," "Revolution" and "Breach," plus one new Zombie map called "Der Riese."
Map Pack 3 is co-developed with Austin-based Age of Booty developer Certain Affinity, which has also worked on multiplayer maps for Halo 2 and provided support to Valve on the Xbox 360 version of Left 4 Dead.
Across all platforms, World at War has sold over 11 million copies since its release.
