An HD revamp of the classic Serious Sam is slated to arrive on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this Summer. A PC version of the title will also be released but not until this Fall.
Xbox 360 users will be able to pick up the HD revamp for 1200MS points ($15), while PlayStation Network users can utilize the real world currency of $15 (USD).
The team released a handful of screenshots for the game, with the first two acting as a brief comparison between the original game and the HD revamp. The rest of the shots are all from the upcoming release.

Dubbed "Serious Sam: The First Encounter HD" and packing online co-op for up to four players, the game is being developed by Croteam with Devolver Digital--a new Texas-based "production and publishing company"--aiding in its production.
"The fans have lobbied us hard to do this, so we are stoked about bringing Sam back as big, bold and bad as he ever was," noted Croteam CEO Roman Ribaric.
