America's Army 3 Devs Close Doors after Shipping

A mere day after the release of America's Army 3 the U.S. Army closed the doors to its Emeryville, CA-based studio. The move was done in order to "consolidate development."

"This consolidation will allow us to gain efficiencies between our public and government applications," the representative explained. " We appreciate all the hard work that every member of the America's Army team has contributed to the project, and we look forward to delivering future America's Army game releases in the months ahead."

A follow-up statement says that "some" of the former staff in the Emeryville location was asked to relocate to the Redstone Arsenal location. A solid figure for how many were asked was not provided.

This game is not complete at all, it's so unbelievably buggy that it's just ridiculous. Can't do anything with the game without having it freeze my entire PC, I sadly had to uninstall it, it's a shame really because I was looking forward to playing this game.

I've been told that a patch was released a couple of hours ago, don't know if that's true. Can't find anything on the main website.

If America stopped invading 3rd world Countries there wouldn't be much inspiration for films and video games and the price of oil and Bananas would go up for people in the states!
