DEADLOCK Mod Update for June 10

The DEADLOCK Mod team has once again rolled out some fresh content to share with their current and future fans. The first character models are starting to become a reality and a voice talent search is already underway.

The first character mesh is the urban male, which he's also done for us. It's heading to Gregory Ecklund for rigging, and 3d work on the other characters is heating up. With the release of our characters, we're ready to start looking for voice actors. You can audition here! We also want your help writing the lines. This isn't something often done, and we're excited to see how it pans out.

The team has also released a new video to show off some of the tech at work in their mod. The team shows off their "repathing" technique that will allow them to create levels that dynamically change each and every play through.

Ya this is why I shouldn't have to pay 50 dollars for l4d2

A mod ream can can make new maps, models, and map repathing then how can valve charge for a new game?

Thats pretty awesome, can't wait to play with that. Would be nice if there was more of that in L4D change up things more.

The funny thing is, Valve had branching paths in CS: Source (Havana has it IIRC). Why it couldn't already have been in L4D1 is anybody's guess. Glad to see it in a mod though.
