Germany, already known for their strict censorship of violent video games, is now making a huge push to ban the production of violent games. Gamepolitics reports that Germany's 16 Interior Ministers are pushing for a ban on the production and sale of violent video games.
This comes on the heels of a series of a school shootings, notably the latest that occurred on March 11.
The current Interior Ministers are hoping to have this proposal passed before the Germany's new elections begin on September 27.

If passed, such a move would affect not only German game consumers, but German game developers such as Crytek (Far Cry, Crysis). Under the proposed law, Crytek would apparently need to outsource development of violent games or even relocate its operations to another country.
