Japanese gaming publication, Famitsu, is apparently slated to have some information on a "new Metal Gear" game. With the teaser site still sitting at about 3 and 1/2 hours remaining (as of this posting) before another countdown (presumably) begins, this is the best information there is right now.
The kicker is the fact that the upcoming issue of Famitsu will be focused only on the PlayStation 3 and PSP. Yes, it is entirely possible that this potential reveal will be another Sony exclusive title.
Of course, other rumors are circulating around that there will be not one, but two new Metal Gear type games announced. One by way of the teaser site and Famitsu and another potentially announced at E3.
This is going to be a very exciting couple of weeks coming up for fans of the Metal Gear series or Hideo Kojima's games in general.

A listing at a Japanese 7-Eleven e-Commerce database makes mention of a new Metal Gear game. A similar listing makes mention of a new DS entry in Namco Bandai's Japan-only Idol Master series. The Idol Master game has pretty much been confirmed, so we're likely to believe the Metal Gear listing as well!
