This weekend, beginning this Thursday night, another free weekend for Team Fortress 2 kicks off. If you're one of the few people who do not yet own Team Fortress 2, this is your chance to test drive the game and the new Spy/Sniper update also arriving this Thursday.
There does not seem to be any mention of this on the Steampowered home page just yet, but the press release states that the files are available for pre-load. You may want to restart your clients to see if Team Fortress 2 was magically added to your games list in order to start the pre-load of the content!
To celebrate the Spy/Sniper Update coming this Thursday via Steam, Valve has made the Team Fortress 2 game files available for pre-loading. This allows players to have everything they need to play the full game over an extended Free Weekend, with no purchase obligation.
