PlayStation 3 owners of Fallout 3 have about five reasons to jump for joy this evening. Bethesda announced today that the previously released downloadable content packs for the Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3 will be released for the PlayStation 3 in the upcoming months. Furthermore, there will be two additional DLC packs headed to all three platforms!
Operation: Anchorage will hit the PS3 in late June with The Pitt and Broken Steel arriving about four to six weeks apart. Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta are the two new pieces of DLC that will arrive across all platforms.
The DLC will also have multiple retail purchase options available. The first retail option will bundle both Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt together and will be sold only for the PC and Xbox 360 on May 26. The second retail pack for Broken Steel and Point Lookout will arrive this August for the PC and Xbox 360.
Game of the Year editions of Fallout 3 will arrive this October for all three platforms. The GOTY will include the original game plus every expansion and will go for $59.99 on the 360 and PS3, and $49.99 on the PC.
