As noted in this new trailer, the release date is now pushed back to the Fall season of 2009. It was originally slated for a broad Summer 2009 release period. This delay is leading many to speculate that Armed Assault 2 will also be pushed back slightly.
As it stands, these two titles will be vying for your hard earned dollar this year. Both games will feature a strong focus on realistic and tactical game styles and both will be released on the PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 platforms.
The first Operation Flashpoint was developed by Bohemia Interactive, the studio that is now hard at work on Armed Assault 2.
