The next entry in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series was officially announced today. Entitled S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, the game will take up directly after the events in the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. title.
According to Shacknews, players will assume the role of an agent in the Ukraine Secret Service who is tasked with going into the Zone to collection information on a failed military experiment.
Call of Pripyat is slated to be released in Fall of 2009 for the PC.
