Battlefield 1943's Producer Explains PC Version Delay

The console versions of Battlefield 1943 are slated for release on June 15, but the PC version won't arrive until September. The Battlefield 1943 producer, Gordon Van Dyke issues a quick forum reply to the news as to the reasons why the PC version will arrive months later.
Do you want a port or do you want a PC version? If we are to do a proper PC version we need the completed game and then time to make a PC version from that, so how is that hosing PC players? I guess we're damned if we do and damned if we don't with you guys, but be careful because that attitude can make people very jaded if it hasn't already!

Once again, the download only title will be available June 15 on the PlayStation Network and the Xbox 360 Live Marketplace. It will go for $15 (USD) on both platforms. The PC release is slated for an unspecified date in September.

Kinda rude, huh... The game doesn't even seem like it's going to be that good. It's 24 players instead of 64 max like the other games...

I can't really hate nor like this game, but if I were to hate it, then it'd have to be at the idea of them working on this title instead of just skipping it and moving on to Battlefield 3, and if I were to like it, it'd have to be for the pretty pictures.
