Counter-Strike 1.6 Update Released

Another update was released tonight for Counter-Strike 1.6. This update primarily addresses an issue concerning the jump sounds in the game. It contains two fixes for the update released just the other day.
    • Fix the wrong sounds being played on jump when moving to different surfaces
    • Fixed crash in the spectator UI when hitting tab

What, did you think that this update removed the new sound that occurred while jumping from a stationary position? Boy, is your face ever red!

A bit of an offtopic question but I hope you don't mind, but I was wondering if you had any info on L4D's SDK update, didn't they announce it's release will be alongside the Survival Pack update?

No, that's what the ModDB said for some reason. The only official word has just been 'some time after the release of the DLC.'

Apparently, this update failed too: http://www.sk-gaming.com/content/236...gs_still_exist
I find it laughable that players are complaining about bug fixing. The whole russian-walking thing was retarded, and competitive CS had existed long before this bug was found. So, just because it's been around for a year and a half, it's ruining when it's removed?

Pretty much everything in that article is laughable. From the incorrect comment about how Valve said they'd ban for such and such to how the pro crowd still can't seem to adjust to a jumping sound.

You know what I realized yesterday? There's a sound in CS: Source when you jump while stationary/crouched. Mind blowing stuff.

You see, the "pro crowd" is actually all these wannabes who copy what the real pros do. The latter really don't give a fuck and will just go back to playing like they did pre-2007.
