First you need to get these and install them on the server:
Metamod:Source & Sourcemod
Next you need the following Sourcemod plugins:
[L4D] Director Controller All4Dead (Admin Tools)
[L4D] Extra players (adds bots to the server)
After you've installed all of these you are ready to go! Set up a versus lobby (Any map will do as you will change the map ingame when its all setup) and start when all are ready.
Ingame you need to enter the following commands in the console:
sb_all_bot_team 1
director_no_human_zombies 1
This allows the infected to move to the survivor team. Now change to the campaign map you want to play.
Once the map has loaded type sm_l4dbot.
Hopefully now (if its worked) you should have an extra survivor standing in the spawn area. When you use this command it also adds a fake player to the bot which just stands around doing nothing. After 30 seconds the fake player will be kicked, allowing another player to play as the bot. Get a player to switch teams from infected to survivors and they should just be able to take control using the left mouse button. If not get them to type sb_takecontrol in the console and that should sort it! Repeat this part to add more players to the survivor team.
Finally, type !admin in chat, goto All4Dead settings, Versus settings and disable versus mode. If its all gone right, you should now be playing a campaign with more than 4 players.
