Wow, it has been forever since we've actually brought you news about the Steam weekend update. We're sure you've all had severe withdraws from the lack of news that can easily be read whenever you start up Steam, but it's alright. We're here for you now.

The creators of <a href="steam://store/22200">Zeno Clash</a> have just released <a href="http://forums.aceteam.cl/index.php?autocom=gallery&req=si&img=79">a four-page web comic</a> featuring characters and settings from their game. Zeno Clash is one of the most innovative titles we’ve seen in a long time. It's still available at a discounted price until it's officially released next month, so be sure to check out the comic and the official trailers.
This week we spent some time in San Francisco for the <a href="http://www.gdconf.com/">2009 Game Developer's Conference</a>. While there, we were able to meet in person some of the creators of the <a href="http://store.steampowered.com/promotion/indie">fantastic independent games</a> that we've recently featured on Steam. Confidential to Michael, Auriea, and Laura: your idea for a mashup of <a href="steam://store/27000">The Path</a> and <a href="steam://store/500">Left 4 Dead</a> sounded incredible after all those drinks, but could you get in touch to explain it again? Our memory is a little fuzzy. Something about a zombie wolf?
If you love comics and are looking forward to Zeno Clash, you really should check out the new webcomic. I meant to toss it up in its own news post earlier this week, but it seems as though GDC news had gotten the best of my memory. Don't forget that by the end of Sunday, the big Ubisoft sale ends. There is still the Ubisoft Classic Pack that includes four games for $9.99 total.
