Rumor: Metal Gear Solid 4 Revealed for Xbox 360 Tonight

Ah yes, the rumor that just will not die. It is expected by many that tonight's award ceremony for Hideo Kojima will bring with it the announcement of a Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4.

In a case of "I know a guy who knows a guy who said", a <a href="http://www.giantbomb.com/forums/general-discussion/30/oh-shizzlepop-i-was-right-mgs4-360-bound/235920/">forum posting on Giant Bomb</a> states that an announcement is forthcoming.

According to my buddy who knows some guy, MGS4 will be announced for the 360 as Kojima accepts his lifetime achievement award tonight. The ceremony starts at 6:30 pacific.
And no, I'm actually being serious here, I know I've made some.... more essentric topics in the past but I'm not joking here.

Really, this isn't a joke. Mark your watches, 6:30 tonight (the conference so by 7:30 at most)

Additional evidence for this "rumor" is somewhat supported by the constant Tweets from G4's <a href="http://twitter.com/geoffkeighley/status/1390763583">Geoff Keighley</a>.

If you're at GDC you'll definitely want to attend the awards tonight at 6:30. You may be pleasantly surprised.

It will be interesting to see just what tonight has in store for the gaming world. Whether or not it's a 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4 is anybody's wildest guess at this point. The ceremony begins in just 30 minutes.

Update: And the rumor has been shot down once more. Let's see how much dust this rumor kicks up once E3 rolls around!

Yes, but there are tons of these "exclusives" that end up just being a timed deal. Though it seems as though this rumor has once again been put to bed.
