I bet that headline got your attention, didn't it? On October 26th, you'll have the chance to chat and play with the female only clan, PMS. The Counter-Strike division of the PMS clan is teaming up with Xfire to have a live chat that starts at 6PM PDT (9PM Eastern) via Xfire.



The first day's events, entitled "Women and Gaming" will focus on the major issues that women face in gaming today. Such topics of interest will include:

• Marketing and advertising
  
  
• Gaming communities
  
  
• Industry issues

I agree, but who wants a girlfriend that belongs to a girls only clan or is involved in a stupid event like this?

i wonder how are their social life besides going to tourney/matches etc like that. even i dont stick around with my computer as i often did previous years ago. majority of them girls are 18 and younger. wonder how would their parents even let them to travel out of the state/country on their own.

You obviously haven't played many online games where there's been a female in the server then, have you? You'll still see or hear a good number of players being complete idiots to someone just because they're female and playing a game.

Usually all I see is positive attention for the girl, like every guy in the server hitting on her, saying "Wow nice shot!" on a terrible shot, spamming smiley faces when talking to her, etc.
