While all passwords are encrypted and salted, it's recommended that you change your password here when you can.
Updates have been released for the Source engine. The updates will be automatically applied the next time you restart your client. In case you're wondering, the updates are the same as those found in the most recent BETA, but I'll still list them after the bump.
The most notable changes include a VAC icon fix, and a fix for the "Buy Favorites" feature.[break="changelog"]

Made demos record screenshot and jpeg commands
Added the cvar cl_playback_screenshots to control whether or not the screenshot and jpeg commands are replayed while playing back a demo
Fixed the Add/Remove/Edit/Import buttons in the dedicated server's Bans page
A nice little update was released for all Source engine games today. Restart your Steam client to grab the update and read the change log below!
Most notably are the fixes to a Smoke grenade exploit, a means to allow players to switch to other servers if they so wish, and some nice sv_pure fixes.

Fixed a Half-Life 2: Deathmatch bug where a spectator could freeze a live player when mp_forcerespawn was 0

Made the server print a client's steam ID and show sv_pure warnings if sv_pure_kick_clients is 0
Fixed a Linux-only crash when loading certain custom maps
Fixed a bug preventing sv_pure CRCs from verifying correctly on certain custom maps
this is irrelevant compared to the rest of the crap for CS:Source they've been putting off.
IMO Valve has just been dicking around and all of it is worthless and unnecessary. They need to get their priorities straight and put CS:Source at the forefront.
