      Yeah awesome dude!

Next time I get banned by a 12 year old admin who thinks I'm cheating just because I killed him, I can be banned by every server! awesome!

        Zips,

Slight typo: "gloabalize" should be "globalize"

                  it's "crazy azz"

Oh, I think this thing is a bad idea. If you get banned, for whatever reason, on one server... you're banned on all servers. That's just the dumbest idea. Granted, there are tons of servers that are run very well by responsible people. But it only takes one idiot admin to screw things up.

I'm not exactly sure how this plug-in will work, but if it gives the admin the power to extend the ban to all servers... and it doesn't involve some sort of autodetect software or something. Then, this is a very bad idea. The admin could use the ban power to ban for any reason other than "hacking"... perhaps even for his own amusement.

Not a new idea, but it's a good idea on a limited scale -- if the database was only between different servers you personally run, along with perhaps a set of your trusted fellow admins, then it'd be great.

For something global, though, unless the program (not the administrator) is responsible for detection of troublemakers, this it cannot be impartial, and thus is worthless. I don't know why I typed this, though... it's not like everyone else hasn't said exactly the same thing.

Nighthawk doesn't need any backing up. He handles matters quite nicely on his own.

This seems like a good idea until people get wrongly banned. It could ruin they're gaming times. But, it seems good start to atleast get working and give it a try. I will definately be installing this at the lan center I work at to keep pesky cheaters out of our local server!

i think so, too. I got banned from a server because they though i was teamflashing, on purpose. If this stupid mod/rule goes into affect, i might not get to play amymore because of an over-zealess admin, Again!
