So, correct me if I'm wrong but that means there's a total of 5 maps now? sheesh =\ I think I'll wait another year to consider buying dods...
the default maps are incredible, and there's enough custom maps and content to keep you busy for a while. also isn't it like $20? it's realy worth it :)

Argentan, Anzio, Avalanche, Donner, Flash, Kalt.

      There's 6 official maps, not five. :)

Kalt looks pretty sweet in game and it plays good too. Really intense.

Six fingers is notably different than five fingers. :P Point being, when you're talking about rather small numbers, one more or less can make a significant impact.

Anyway, as far as it being worth purchasing or not, I really enjoy DOD:S personally... it has a nice "feel" to it, and unlike CS:S I don't get as annoyed with FPS drops -- likely because my death results in a 10 second wait, not a 3 minute wait. :)

That said, I bought HL2 Silver, so I was only paying an extra 10 bucks or so to get DOD:S thrown in the package (or rather, I paid 10 bucks for the promise of DOD:S, which was eventually fulfilled). It's a bit spendier now, unfortunately.

I also bought silver and have had a fun time with DoD:S.

Thanks for the high res pack, now I have something besides DoD:S and Quake 4 to play with my 7800 GT and jerk off.

Speaking of steam purchases, I bought Darwinia and it got unlocked while I was at CPL so I only played the first level and then stopped. I really feel bad for having not gone back yet, but I just keep playing Counter-Strike 1.6 or the console game of the moment(Call of Cthulhu).

I've been waiting for Call of Cthulhu since like 2002. I heard the game is really good for the Xbox, and they've been developing one for the PC too (which is not just a crappy port, so they're probably quite different). I remember watching videos way back where the monster AI seemed to be extremely smart, peeking around corners and going beyond the arbitrary and/or straightforward AI of other many other games.

How is it? I heard it's not getting its deserved publicity.

Nice, have to give it a try sometimes. Also, do they meant models as in player models or props?

so? CS has how many actual playable maps that you can enjoy.
