Honestly, I don't see the basis for that. The ATi voucher thing is long gone, the GeForce FX series was a crappy line of video cards, and that was the technology that VALVe was complaining about at the time. With the introduction of the GeForce 6 line (and now the 7) all of VALVe's complaints disappeared, and there's really no reason to believe that ATi and VALVe have any better of a relationship than nVidia and VALVe have.

Anyways, its good that they are getting some big problems out of the way, but I hope this wasn't what they called the game updates they said they would do to CSS. Also I would like to see Friends out of Beta. The double diolog bug is starting to bug me, however I like that I can spy on my firends and drop in to ruin the fun.

I don't think they would put a scope on the M4, even though the world model they have now in 1.6 has a scope on it.

back in beta phrase of cs the m4 was able to scope =D it was freaken fun haha.
