On Militia, Player Models, and a Mystery Map

Just a small bit of information to pass along to the community about the state of cs_militia, the player models, and a new mystery map. This Steampowered forum posting details an e-mail by Valve's Jess Cliffe.

We're going to release cs_militia next and the updated player models will go out around the same time. We're testing them now.



When I'm not working on Dod: Source maps, I'm working on a cool new CS map based on a construction site theme. No word yet on when that will go out.

Nothing too concrete yet, but it's always a good sign to see that more content is just around the corner.

I never realized Cliffe was so involved in the mapping going on at Valve. What maps has he made? Anyone know?

When I'm not dicking around playing videogames with the rest of the Valve staff, which is most of the work day, I'm thinking about getting around to working on DoD:S and CS:S maps.
