wow, mines the exact opposite, i have a 9800pro, 2.8ghz, i run CS:S with everything turned up, in 1280x1024, i cant even run this game in 1024 with everything turned up, its unplayable

DoD:S is amazing. I had the chance to play it on my friends comp with 4 gigs of ram, dual graphics cards, etc etc..It was really something. It's hard to play CS:S then go and play HL2 and now DoD:S, I don't know what they did while making CS:S but I have a feeling it involved a bunch of lines of coke and some monkey porn.



Calling it CoD:S is kind of odd though. If anything, it's like BF1942 + Source engine - HUGE maps + the annoying Valve fans.

- vehicles. For now. Thank goodness. In BF(x) I'm all about infantry, whereas the vehicles get dull. That's why I never like Onslaught in UT2004.

I have a decent computer, so the FPS is not a problem. Havent played dod_donner yet, but looking forward playing it :)

meh, 60 fps is what i get.... and it still looks damn pretty, too bad after a while i start seeing those green artifacts after my cards heats up to 80 C...this game is so very very pretty. If only they could get Source to run as smooth as SC:chaos theory... this would be awesom (Chaos theory's 24 fps look smoother than sources 60+, which means you can use higher settings)



the HDR is so amazing.

DoD is only infantry combat. and thank god for that. bf1942 infantry combat sucks ass, its usually really laggy. plus your entire team does nothing but camp the airfield for a plane, and if you get in it they all blow you up.
