Day of Defeat: Source has recently been released to the public! Day of Defeat: Source is the updated version of the popular WWII Half-Life 1 modification. The update brings the new HDR technology into the Half-Life 2 universe, four remakes of the original DoD maps, and a wealth of improvements and changes to the core gameplay. I must extend my apologies to everyone, but I would have announced this sooner here had I not had an economics test to take care of.

Playing on Lan with brother, this game is absolutly amazing looking, the HDR is just plain pretty. The only problems so far is the A) not being able to join a server :P and lag issues, but both will be resloved im sure soon :)Comment

HDR is only avalible on dxlevel 90, (it seems), and only on certain maps
and there are no maps on CS:S (yet, even though CS_Havana looks HDR)
but on DoD:S, i need a new pair of pantsComment
