Not much CS community news around these parts, but FPS gamers around the world are checking out the Battlefield 2 demo available from your local Filecloud! Battlefield 2 is, of course, the follow-up to Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield Vietnam, which makes it the third game in the Battlefield series. EA bravely challenged everything, which includes the traditional naming convention in which the third games in a series have a "3" after the name. To honor EA's courage, you may want to check out the Battlefield 2 demo for the boring weekend.

DAMn!!! Its the onyl thing that will help me to decide whether I shoudl buy the gam or not!!! Its midnight and I have to go to sleep since I have to work tomorrow. I guess Ill anxiously wait to try it tomorrow. Cant wait to try the game.

Great demo, now I'm 100% sure I'm buying this game. So much fun. My highlight of the evening: Climbing up a HUGE crane that towers above the entire map, sneaking up behind an enemy sniper, knifing him in the back and laughing as his guy screamed bloody murder and his body ragdolled hundreds of feet to the ground. Then I sniped some people.Comment

It's more fun to track them as an opposing sniper, get one shot to wound them as they're climbing... let them look around thinking they're safe as they start to climb again, and then shoot them once they finally reach the top. Oh... it was glorious.
