More like proud to be whack after that stereotypical STEAM SUX comment. Like Zips said, hasn't that already been explained a million times?

Yeah, sadly my last experiments with the hitboxes were post lag-fix, so I never got to see the hitboxes be that grossly misaligned as in that video.
Don't get me wrong, if you turn the hitboxes on, they still look waaaay the hell off. But unlike in that video, shooting the displayed hitbox doesn't earn me a kill, where as shooting the actual player model does.
So as far as I can tell, the only glaring hitbox problem remaining is how off they're shown as being (when you enable displaying them), when in reality they're pretty close to accurate.Comment

I don't understand how anybody can say that the hitboxes aren't a problem. In Source, if I'm using a sniper rifle, zoom in on a crouched player's eyeball and shoot, 9 times out of 10 it misses horribly. And don't say I suck. Lots of people experience this and I was the biggest awpwhore in the community back in 1.6. In 1.6, shots always register in the right place. Zooming in on somebody's face results in a headshot. There is no way you can tell me that there isn't SOMETHING, whatever it is, wrong with Source.Comment

Indeed, that video is no longer true. Like Nighthawk says, if you enable sv_hitboxes 2, then they still look off, but if you actually shoot them, your bullets miss (as you would expect). If you shoot the player, you get a kill.
So yeah, that hitbox video is utterly worthless now except for the leet APC song. \m/_Comment
