VAC2: Not Exclusive to Source

Over at the Half-Life Fallout boards comes word from a Steampowered moderator that VAC2 will work across all Valve games. This information is based off of a VAC2 FAQ from the Steampowered boards in which questions are answered directly from Valve employees. This is certainly good news for fans of the 1.6 version of Counter-Strike and other Half-Life based games.

They've been logging for weeks now.



People complain when they release something too early and it causes problems, and now that they're trying to eliminate any false positives, people are complaining for an early release even if it may cause problems.

I suppose because it's easiest. It seems like Valve can't fix the real bugs, so they just fool around, but what do I know, I haven't played a steam game for months.
