People say there is no story line to hl2, YES THERE IS. Only problem for some is you need to look for it and pay attention.

There are no cutscenes, therefore it's hard to distinguish the story from the game. There is in fact a story, one deeper on an emotional level than MP2 Echoes or Halo 2.

Just because one group is working with CS: Source doesn't mean they take time out to work on this expansion.

I know thats a fair defence, I guess all I can say is that it irks me to read about how "we think people want more hl2" when theres a huge community of cs-s people, who'd really like to hear just the tinyest, smallest, glimmer of a "we may have our janitor spend 5% of his time looking into why the netcode seems so laggy after the last 3 updates".

I'm sure they're working on it, just give it time. I personally don't experience any major netlag issues, so it could be hard to replicate.

... To have all of the effects, be sure and have a 3.2GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a top of the line video card... Just as the minimum requirements.



Everyone will get it, but not everyone will be able to drool all over it with the ton of eye candy.

Not only do these new orange link-ads make the page laggy for me in FireFox, but they also select really random words. ("the lost" in the text above linked me to a page about the T.V. show "Lost). You might as well just go back to the old days when there were huge gamespy or whatever ads that took up the whole page before redirecting to content, they were actually less annoying than these new ones.
