Any idea what SourceTV is like? Exactly the same as HLTV or new features?
Bokuho wrote..there were small updates to steam as well as source... also, if you have any source games preloaded, then it's gonna download the updates for it i believe
I don't see why I should have to get this update when I don't even have Source but w/e Steam, keep downloading...
Ava3ar wrote..Yup. First thing I noticed too.
is it just me or did htey change the server info area too?
n1k23 wrote..It's a shame the "play hard , go pro" kids seem to dictate how we play CS these days, because Oilrig, Tundra and Highrise were actually fairly decent maps, and I used to love playing on them. Nowadays, I'm lucky to find a server that'll play Storm or torn, nevermind a hostage or assasination map, lord no!
meh, the only intersting thing in the update is the 'Fixed a "rare" bug that caused some bullet impacts to be counted twice.'
I'm still waiting for, inferno, nuke, militia, oilrig and survivor to be ported by turtle rock and come offical maps. When i heard there was an update I was hoping I would see one of those maps added.
Yes, i do want assassination maps.
uthor wrote..yes, it's been noted. you can correct it by reconnecting/changing names, or hammering valve with ten billion emails to fix it.
Anyone notice that the name of the person that kills you, or shoots you, or that you shoot, no longer matches the name listen under "Damage Given/Taken" in the console?
kerosine99 wrote..yeah, oilrig would be great, on one side there should be sea cliffs from the nearby land. On the other you should side cargo's and ships. Maybe you should see the helicopter left up in the air after?
I think assassination maps would be great in Source. I can just imagine the VIP almost reaching the helicopter and getting blown past it and off the oilrig deck into the water below by a zealous AWPer in the tower.
wee bull wrote..Wow, another human being who likes tundra and highrise, I never tought i would see the day :). Highrise was ugly as hell, but had damn fun gameplay, especially with 12+ players.
