Didn't they do that in 1.6 from 1.5 as well?
    No, they didn't.

Why must they fix all the bugs that people like/have no problem with?

        Didn't like this one:

"Players can only change their names once every 10 seconds, with a max of 5 times every 10 minutes

        They should leave this alone.
i bet you hack. they did this to stop the name-spamming-chaning thing where hackers changed their names every 3 seconds to prevent admin banning. this is a glory day for me.

Yeah, the silencer/switch weapons thing has become pretty ingrained for me. It's not an issue, it'll just take a lot to unlean the habit...

There's really no reason that I can think of for somebody to change their name more than 5 times in 10 minutes, so that's a great fix.

As for the "Equipping the silencer is canceled if the player switches weapons" this is actually the way it should be. And it shouldn't be a problem for the competitive community at all, since almost all of the competitive community came from 1.6, and the way silenced weapons act in CS:S is now starting to act more like they do in 1.6 with this change.

I would rather Valve spend their time making more player model and making/converting maps.

As for the changes, there's nothing really major there. I don't understand why ppl get so worked up over insignificant shit.

Make them yourself. You pretty much only need photoshop.

close steam, go into your steam directory.. delete your clientregestry.blob and start up steam again... i think that should fix your issue

Yeah, there were a bunch of hackers doing that on a server I admin, and it was driving me nuts. Took me a while, but finally banned him. I'm glad this update was released.
