    New Map - de_port

As part of Valve's weekly news update comes word of a new map in the works for CS: Source. The map has been given the title of "de_port." Besides a brief mention of the map, only a whiteboard sketch has been released to the public to showcase the preliminary layout of the map.

1)The ramps onto the Ship look like interesting choke points for defending the bomb site, I would guess they'd have to somehow make it impossible to see both at the same time otherwise it would be quite easy to cover.

          and 2)w00t new map

I was gonna say ... I like this map the first time it was made .... when it WAS CALLED O I L R I G !!! haha .. Im not complaining about VaLVE giving us another map though for free .. Even though their way of releasing a sketch is the same thing as saying "You guys arent getting shit for months"

GG - Cant wait to see the real bug fixes they hopefully get done before now and the time this "sketch" is actually a map we can play.

funny how you say its oilrig :|....considering all you saw was a sketch, there was no boat in oilrig, oilrig....is an oilrig...,this map has land, oilrig was a hostage map...this is a bomb map, etc. etc. etc.

They need to stop making original maps for a while and work on getting maps like inferno and nuke released...

oh ya. Regardless it sucked :p. But this map is totally different as it appears so far, don't see the comparison with oilrig other than there is a lot of water surrounding it....

But I agree and disagree on making the old maps. Agree because I want them. Disagree with you because Valve can make new maps....becaue it seems like Turtle Rock has been the one remaking the old maps. So if that continues, I'd rather Turtle Rock do it...they did an awesome job on train. And made tides looks really purty even tho it sux.

this makes me sad.. because it makes it look like we will never see oilrig again..

at least it is LIKE oilrig
