A tip to everyone who is having trouble starting their game/downloading the update, try deleting clientregistry.blob and restarting Steam. As far as I know it lets you connect to a different server to get the update.

Yeah the stupid bots on "ALERT LEVEL" sure do resemble what we like to refer to in servers as a WALLHACK - I count count how many times I have gotten shot through a wall by these damn AI - Im not complaining though like all you other little girls ... Here is the truth ... Valve doesnt have to do shit for us after they release their game HL2 ... IN FACT - what they could of done is charge $40 for expansions packs like Blizzard does for Warcraft, and will do for World of Warcraft ... etc ... So please - bitch to your parents, but be happy that we are still getting free updates
