          i've played source and i don't like it. wth is wrong with having two types of invite? GRRR frustrated, i like 1.6 and wish they'd work on it a little and release a counter-strike final.. no v1.wutever

            Anyway, I think we all saw this coming. Look for Valve phasing out CS 1.6 support next (if they already haven't).

                  I think this is move for the best, I like CS:S very much, and I think most others, including low and high level league players feel the same way. If we are to look at CS:S as an update I think they managed to make most people happy for a change.



                  Now I gotta upgrade my system so I can get the frame rate I am used to from 1.6.

                      I fail to see the logic in announcing a switch to source before the game is ready for serious competition. But we are talking about CAL, so I guess I shouldn't expect them to be reasonable.
