I wouldn't call HL2 'the most anticipated PC game of all time'... I can think of a fair few which have had more hype then this in the past.



Anyway, it's a bit pointless to go and buy this sort of stuff. As Mobius said, the VALVe history info you can find elsewhere, and if you're going to spend actual money reading what is essentially a book of hype, you deserve to be ripped off. As for the strategy guide, the only people that make decent 'offical' guides is Piggyback/Authorised-Collection. Every other guide maker out there sucks, you're better off going to somewhere like GameFAQs.com and just getting guide some random wrote there.
