Sigh... First the Jews, and now video games. Seriously, our society as a whole has gone down the shit hole. Obviously games like CS and other actions game are scrapegoats like the Jews during WWII. Rather than getting to the source of the problem, some people placed the blame on the next thing so they can have a clear "consequence" and that video games or something is to be blamed. Rather than looking at the source of the problem, stuff like the mentality of those robbers (idiots, fuckers, dumbass-whatever you may call them), they say video games are the one at fault. And don't start on the media, geez they are so fuck up idiots. As on of ya had pointed out; medias out there would rather twist the truth just so they get more fucking ratings. In my own opinion; dumbass reports, journalists, etc. should be line up in a line, stripped them of their clothes, and force them to march down some public place or another with a live camera feeds that show off immediately the footage around the world. If people is going to blame anyone for that incident in Australia, blame the parents for not teaching their kids rights. Anyone here see the new THe Nanny show on fox? Seriously-those little kids should be given a whack (as long as it's not too abusive in a way i.e. a punch in the face) in the fucking heads-that's all they should need. No need to spend countless money, time, ect. on nannies when a smack in the head would do. That's probably what happened with those robbers; parents never really enforce a solid descipline in their lives. Oh yeah-to those parents out there that are blaming video game companies, tv., etc. for crimes shoud go FUCK themselves. Man, i bet many of the parents out there are doing it either just for the money, or they're in denial of the real fact the real blame and fault was on them-no the companies that makes awesome games, movies, and music that was made for SENSIBLE and SANE people to enjoy.

I think this entire thing is just like how Daelus summed it up. I agree with the fact that the story is bogus, and this screen shot doesnt do the game justice. (BTW, that does does make me want to murder the dip-shit who took it.) I play enough Rainbow 6, Counter-Strike, Ghost Recon, The Specialists, Joint Operations, and Splinter Cell that my dad actualy thought that I was getting warped and turning into a phsycopath(Now to put this into perspective, this is the guy who let me watch X-Files when I was 5).
Now, if they can't admit they held the guns, and one of them pulled the trigger, then they both should be charged with the crimes they commited. THEY COMMITED, no game can commit murder, unless the disc was used as the weapon.Comment

Even if Counter-Strike never existed, they would've found some other violent thing to imitate. Then you could blame the movies or books or whatever, right? Wrong.
The only problem is there's gonna be insane people like this always.
I wish there was more crime PREVENTION and less PUNISHMENT. Cops wait until after the crime occurs (or starts occurring) before they can do anything. Not that I have any idea what they could do before the crime starts, but that's where effort should be put.Comment
