More Half-Life 2 Gold Talk

To continue with the ongoing stream of Half-Life 2 going gold news, we have yet more to add. GameSpot and their Rumor Control section state that Half-Life 2 has gone gold.

What we heard: Ever since the release candidate for Half-Life 2 was submitted to VU Games in mid-September, a piñata has hung in the lobby of Valve's headquarters. The plan: to bust the sucker open when the game achieved gold status. Earlier today, GameSpot learned from an informed sourced that "the piñata has been broken" and the game has gone gold.

As usual, VU and Valve have yet to make any official announcement. Everything seems to be in place, however, for an official gold announcement to come shortly. Go ahead, it's alright to smile now.

It seems like every time I check Csnation their is something new and it just keeps getting better. I cant wait till the one time I go and I see Half-Life2 now in stores I will probably take a screenshot.

Once Half Life 2 is actually released (if it ever happens...) CSNation will go out of business!



No-one will give a shit about CS news until Half Life 3 Comes out in 20 years, they'll probably announce it in a month and say its due to be released next year but string it out till 2025.
