its mint, but the whole game needs a makeover with this sort of thing including detail textures and stuff they hardly use any of the engine at the moment with cs:s they need to make it more detailed

Anyway, I downloaded these and installed em or whatever you wanna say, and I'd say they are worth it. They dont hurt the game but they also dont add to to much, so its a good mod in my oppinion.

And yeah, your mind will try to keep things consistant, so if you try to fool it by turning your head it will adapt. Your depth perception doesn't suddenly flip around if you stand on your head.

have you heard of an experiment some sicentists did on a group of people. they put some kind of glasses on a few test subjects, the glasses were made to optically flip the image upside down. the poor people were told to wear them for a week or so. after that time, the brain adapted and flipped the images the right way up again. then ofcourse the scientists took the glasses off..and everything was upside down, even with no optical correction.

In fact, I was thinking of that very experiment when I wrote my reply. It's an especially good example of how the mind will adapt to certain situations - and also, how the concious mind is somewhat seperate from the underlying processes.

Wow. I had no intentions of downloading the models since I don't have a DX9 card anyway but I certainly learned a lot by reading these comments. Very interesting stuff.
