Everyone, calm down, take a breather, and listen very closely.

We will ban the next person that does one of the following things:

            1. Imply in any way, shape, or form that CS: Source is out. If you do see "CS: Source is being released" news, please, feel free to submit this news. But most likely, we'll know before you do so don't post that it's been released or we'll ban you for vast amounts of time.

            2. You will be banned if you flame other members, CSN staff, or Valve. This goes double for using derogatory language against others. Also, this won't be a bannable offense, but cut down on the language just a tad.

So please, get back on topic, and have fun.

You can always take your steam cache and copy it to a DVD-R. That way you'll have it for reinstall.

Other than that, I don't see why you'd want a hard copy.

i just dont trust steam to keep my cdkey and login information. if they mess something up with my account it would be a big pain to contact them and get it fixed.

You'll get bots with both the online and offline version.

Well then you're in trouble, because when you install HL2, it will install Steam, and verify your cd-key before letting you play both CS:Source and HL2.

I was thinking that CS:S would become available at the Steam update time or what every it's called that happens every day at about 6 p.m. or some other time near then.
