I like that steam purchases don't include a CD.



I need a reason to buy a dvd burner and I think this is it.

way worry it will be released this week for sure and valve can always send update to us throught steam so why wont it come out this week :) there will be no problems some time this week i will come and lets wait and see till 2:30 ok

If I remember right... they didn't release the beta until 6-7pm PST (Valve Time) on the day it was rumored to be released. For those on the east coast or midwest, plan on a late night.



As for CSN, I commend them on making the post and sharing it with the community. It's a bold move considering the track record for Valve. I'm inclined to believe their sources and like previously mentioned, it's not that big of a deal for Valve to release their part of the HL2 package to their steam users.



Steam has caught a lot of flack, and by releasing a game that has probably been ready for a while now and preloaded on our machines, they might be able to gain back a few jaded fans of online content providers.

yes that is true valve can realse it any time so if its past 12:00 you now the the source was faulse.so there nothing we can do but wait

OK what is VST? How does this relate to BST (clocks havn't gone back yet)......



Do we have any hardware requirements/specifications yet as well?
