CS: Source Tomorrow?

some people have an illogical attraction to boxes and it makes not sense to me at all. When I buy through retail, I usually throw the box away because, hey, I've got the game now and I don't need to look at the pretty pictures on the box to see the game anymore because I have it installed.. hello? I guess the retail stores have to survive somehow.

Let me break it down and put in an example.



"According to Gamespot, we here at CS-Nation have been given information regarding the upcoming release of Counter-Strike: Source."



It doesn't make sense for an outside source to confirm they've received information about CS:S, now would it? It's been bugging me, but I guess it's a bit off-topic.

you're right it is funny.



i have all the boxes of the games i've bought for pc just stacked up on top of my bookshelf.



its... pretty sizeable. and quite the eyesore. but i like them there.



nevertheless, i'm purchasing through steam, for ease and convenience.

I look at it this way:



I buy a book, and then read it. After I learned everything in it, I don't really need the book anymore, but I don't throw it away. I put it on my bookcase to make me look intelligent



I do my game boxes the same way, but it only shows how lonely and sad I am :'(
