How exactly did valve "Fuck us over" on this. It wasn't them, per se, that said it was going to be released today. Historically Valve has released everything in the evening, so why not wait till end of business day tonight to decide if the source was wrong, then you can go to town on the information. Consider that the business day for Valve hasn't even started yet, why not give them some time before jumping all over them.

I know when i get to work on monday, I don't actually start my weeks work till 4pm on Fridays, so lets give them time to settle in. :p
