they should get a compensation....

now if i was valve i would do the same thing as they are doing, give the minimum....the amount of "whining" that they get more for doing this is so little compare to the extra money they receive.

HL2 not even out yet. VU could hold HL2 for 6 months, might even be longer with legal issues. Hell even after you pay for it threw Steam no telling when you can play it.



Can Steam be force to be dumb down like WON with these legal issues? It would just do updates. Nothing more.

If i buy gold i get a hat??? what the hell do i want a HL2 hat for? all those goodies are a waste of money when your not a little kid... im buyg the silver package, i just want all the games and none of the retail packages include all the games (which in my opinion is ridiculous). That back catalouge stuff looks interesting, i wonder what games they have up their sleeves... and this game better cost less than $75 for silver

Because as the phrase is written, the intention is to describe 2 items. If they had wished to imply you got (several) multiplayer modes they would have written "Full version includes single and X multiplayer modes" where X is a descriptor like "many" or a number. As it is currently stated, there is no basis to say they should have included more than 1 multiplayer mode. It only definately says you get 1, it does not imply you get any more.

I suspect the steam subscription offer will still be introduced, along side the normal retail offers, as was always planned.



Probably $5-10 a month and you get all the games on Steam. However, they will most likely have to finish court proceedings with VU before doing so.
