Sounds to me like VALVe is screwing people once again. People bought the 9800xts b/c they were assuming they would be getting the best card possible to play the game at the time. They were being told that the game was being released fairly soon.



1 year later and their 9800xts are half as good as the 6800GT/Ultra and x800s. Heck, it's even worse than the 6800NU, which cost less. VALVe should be giving all those voucher users gold and sending out handwritten apologies by Gabe himself.

They're talking about releasing the game. They're giving away two games for free. What you should be tired of is listening to people complaining without justifcation.

As an ATI user, i am satisfied. For a minute (yes, about that long) I was worried that they'd pull something like "ATI users don't get CSS". Now that I know I'm getting CSS and HL2, I have no complaints.
