I wouldn't be that harsh in my mind, they tend to get a little over excited when they review a game.

PC Gamer gives crap games great scores to go with hype, and they give great games bad scores if they went in with a negative attitude (valve sux attitude, for example).

when you consider what extra stuff Hl2 has compared to most,i think its gonna score pretty highly, unless they give the other parts to it seperate reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



Steam, so i imagine with hl2 youll be able to play all of the old content

and im not sure if this is still the case but didnt valve say they had something special in store for hl2 multiplayer, other than cs source.

What does cs-nation have against phl? Are they taking sides because VALVe does like phl? Why in the news does it say voodoo extreme has news to share with the worls and then voodoo says they got it from PHL? Sounds/looks like you guys arnt crediting phl for coming up with the news first, again. Oh but.. "they pass along word"

Why even consider the thought that HL2 would get the rating it deservers, when Doom 3 was so overrated as it was? I believe PC Gamer is a very corrupt magazine.

With that I'll explain, PC Gamer cannot write an article if their lives depended on it. Instead they fill the magazine with screenshots to make up for it. I, myself, would rather hear of the interesting features of the game. Rather than look at the nice static pictures.

hey... i always go through the pictures first! and really... when it comes to games like HL2, I really don't care about the reviews. the whole "game review" thing doesn't make sense to me anyways... It's about what "I" think that matters when it comes to games. (I guess that's why i stopped getting those game magazines...) Just my opinion.
