CS:S BETA Preloading

Every other thing Valve does is in the afternoon, so I would bet that the BETA will be unlocked in the afternoon as well. 5 or so pacific time would be reasonable.

I downloaded the leaked version. I must be special.



CSS is pretty cool, but not something to get this excited about. The models look like shit, even for a beta, in the amount of time they had youd think valve could have whipped up some other models or atleast improved on the ones they are releasing now.



Same goes for maps, valve said themselves converting a hl1 map to source wasnt a very involved process, why are we only getting one map, and why dust? I see how dust is nostalgic but it wouldn't have hurt to have included aztec or d2.



The new physics dont change gameplay one bit. True story.



I will admit i like the new models, except maybe the g3sg1 looks like they skimped on it.



All in all, this is just another valve stunt to get people to buy cz.

Well guys Valve is making it look like Half Life 2 will be out soon. From hl2fallout forums we got this message posted by Gabe:

So Half Life 2 Pre-load will start this month, meaning that the full game is very possible to be out in September.

well now we know its not starting at the same time as source did so now we have til midnight valve standard time about 5 more hours
